Kembali lagi bersama saya di blog kesayangan anda. Sebelumnya, saya menulis artikel ini ("Info | Bedanya Hacker Dan Cracker") berkaitan dengan materi pelajaran TIK yang saya peroleh di sekolah saya.
Nah, langsung ke topik pembahasan... Nah, yang jelas mari kita coba untuk mengetahui definisi dari masing masing kata "Hacker" dan "Cracker"

Hacker merupakan sebutan bagi orang yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi terkait dengan eksplorasi sebuah system yang terkadang memiliki tujuan tertentu.
Hacker disini dibedakan menjadi 2, yakni White Hat dan Black Hat, Berikut penjelasannya:

1. White Hat

Disini kalau anda melihat, atau mungkin bagi anda yang memang benar benar awam dalam suatu sistem jaringan, tentunya anda mengira bahwa arti dari Hacker White Hat disini adalah Hacker bertopi putih. Namun, jelas sekali hal ini salah,Yang dimaksud Hacker White Hat dalam arti sesungguhnya adalah Hacker yang mempelajari kelemahan suatu sistem yang telah dibuat oleh client agar sistem tersebut benar benar aman dan tanpa celah. Biasanya, hacker White Hat inilah yang sengaja dikontrak oleh suatu perusahaan maupun perorangan untuk memastikan bahwa layanan yang mereka berikan benar benar aman dan nyaman digunakan.
Contoh: Sebuah perusahaan bank mengadakan kerjasama dengan Hacker White Hat untuk mempelajari situs tersebut agar para nasabah bank yakin bahwa situs tersebut benar benar aman sehingga memberikan pelayanan yang baik bagi para nasabah

2. Black Hat

Hacker Black Hat merupakan hacker yang biasanya dengan seenaknya membobol suatu sistem dan mengacak-acaknya. Sesuatu yang memang sangat berbanding terbalik dengan Hacker White Hat. Hacker Black Hat disini juga meliputi Cracker, namun tingkatannya lebih tinggi dari Cracker. Biasanya ada orang yang memang menyewa jasa Hacker Black Hat ini untuk mengacaukan suatu sistem agar pesaingnya itu tersingkir.
Contoh: Perusahaan komunikasi PT X menyewa jasa Hacker untuk membobol sistem komunikasi milik PT B. Jelas, terbukti bahwa hal hal seperti ini merupakan salah satu persaingan tidak sehat.

Sekian pemaparan tentang Hacker, sekarang mari kita bahas tentang Cracker.

Cracker merupakan sebutan bagi orang yang berusaha mencari kelemahan dalam suatu system untuk dimasuki dan biasanya digunakan untuk kepentingan pribadi dan mencari keuntungan dari system yang di masuki. Seperti pencurian data, penghapusan, dan banyak yang lainnya.
Contoh: Seseorang berusaha memasuki suatu sistem software, dan mengambil database serial number agar selanjutnya digunakan untuk membuat keygen (key generator) untuk keperluan tertentu untuk membajak suatu software.
Cracker tentunya sangat merugikan bagi perusahaan developernya.

Nah, terlihat jelas kan apa bedanya Hacker dan Cracker?
Kalau belum jelas, mari lihat kesimpulan berikut.

KESIMPULAN

Hacker

1. Mempunyai kemampuan menganalisa kelemahan suatu sistem atau situs. Sebagai contoh : jika seorang hacker mencoba menguji suatu situs dipastikan isi situs tersebut tak akan berantakan dan mengganggu yang lain. Biasanya hacker melaporkan kejadian ini untuk diperbaiki menjadi sempurna. Bahkan seorang hacker akan memberikan masukan dan saran yang bisa memperbaiki kebobolan system yang ia masuki.
2. Hacker mempunyai etika serta kreatif dalam merancang suatu program yang berguna bagi siapa saja.
3. Seorang Hacker tidak pelit membagi ilmunya kepada orang-orang yang serius atas nama ilmu pengetahuan dan kebaikan.
4. Seorang hacker akan selalu memperdalam ilmunya dan memperbanyak pemahaman tentang sistem operasi.

Cracker

1. Mampu membuat suatu program bagi kepentingan dirinya sendiri dan bersifat destruktif atau merusak dan menjadikannya suatu keuntungan. Sebagia contoh : Virus, Pencurian Kartu Kredit, Kode Warez, Pembobolan Rekening Bank, Pencurian Password E-mail/Web Server.
2. Bisa berdiri sendiri atau berkelompok dalam bertindak.
3. Mempunyai website atau channel dalam IRC yang tersembunyi, hanya orang-orang tertentu yang bisa mengaksesnya.
4. Mempunyai IP address yang tidak bisa dilacak.
5. Kasus yang paling sering ialah Carding yaitu Pencurian Kartu Kredit, kemudian pembobolan situs dan mengubah segala isinya menjadi berantakan. Sebagai contoh : Yahoo! pernah mengalami kejadian seperti ini sehingga tidak bisa diakses dalam waktu yang lama, kasus klikBCA.com yang paling hangat dibicarakan beberapa waktu yang lalu.

Namun, intinya teknik yang digunakan Hacker dan Cracker adalah sama, namun yang membedakan disini adalah tujuannya.

Left 4 Dead 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter video game and the sequel to Valve Corporation's award-winning Left 4 Dead. The game launched on November 17, 2009, for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in the United States and November 20 in Europe; on September 5, 2010, the game was made available to the Steam client for Mac OS X, and on July 2, 2013 it was made available through Steam for Linux. Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (CZ or CS:CZ) is a multiplayer video game and the follow-up to Counter-Strike. The game was released in 2004 using the GoldSrc Half-Life engine. CS:CZ features a multiplayer mode, which features updated character models, textures, maps and other graphical tweaks. Unlike other Counter-Strike games, Condition Zero also contains a single-player mission pack with the player playing as counter-terrorist alongside bots. The player unlocks maps and more effective bot teammates as he or she passes certain requirements for each map while playing as a counter terrorist. These requirements include targets such as "kill 3 enemies with a Bullpup" or "win a round in 60 seconds". Counter-Strike bots are a prominent part of Condition Zero gameplay.
As of April 15, 2009, the game is one of the ten most played Half-Life modifications in terms of players, according to GameSpy. 2.9 million retail copies have been sold.
Condition Zero started development in 2000 by Rogue Entertainment, initially announced in May 2001 at E3 of that year. Rogue's producer for the game, Jim Molinet, later that year moved to Sony and the development company went defunct, leaving Valve with the development. Later, they gave it to Gearbox Software, the developers of the Half-Life expansion packs, so that Valve could focus on the development rival Team Fortress 2 and its new engine.
Gearbox created an overhaul of Counter-Strike with high quality models and better graphics, similar to Blue Shift compared to Half-Life. They also added alpha blending, allowing for realistic foliage and weather effects. They added a single-player mode to the game, similar to the final game, based on inspiration of Randy Pitchford from console games such as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec. They also placed explosive weapons such as a Molotov cocktail, tear gas bomb, and M72 LAW rocket. They also used the release of Steam to their advantage to help prevent cheating by ensuring constant code updates.

Far Cry 2 is an open world first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.
